Aerodynamic Component of an Aircraft: Forces acting on a descending aircraft

Let’s continue with the topic guys, by considering the forces if weight, lift, thrust and drag
As they affect a descending aircraft, if you are using power during a stabilized descent,
During the descent a component of weight acts forward along the flight path, as speed
Increases, this force is increased in parasite drag.

During a power off glide, the throttle is placed in idle position so the engine as well as
the propeller produce no thrust. In this instance the airplanes thrust is the forward
component of weight along the flight path.

moving forward on the next topic i will discuss to you, constant airspeed descent
